I know this question comes up every year but the WMA permits this year aren't very clear on if bow hunting is allowed during youth hunts?

I contacted the DCNR and the U.S. Forestry Service, the DCNR said that you cannot hunt on the WMA's during the youth hunt. The U.S. Forestry Service said that bowhunting is still allowed even during the youth hunt on Naitonal Forest lands that are not part of the WMA. The hunter Orange requirement is in effect for anyone hunting in National Forest lands.
