Missed two with my compound by the bow limb hitting the rail of my stand when I released the arrow and then missed the other day with my long bow. Struck out this morning. It was fun getting out there, but I got sweaty on the way in, and by the time I was up in my stand, I was freezing. I need a new jacket or something, wind was cutting straight through it.

I'll probably go out this evening next to my house. Have seen lots of fawns moving the past couple days, hope I see a mom.

Finally back in the stand. Sitting on a cut corn field/food plot hoping the deer have been laid up in the pine thicket to the west of me and are getting hungry now that the rain has moved out.

St. Clair county..... Almost puked just now. Had a 150in buck that haven't seen since September bedded 5 feet from my stand this afternoon... Made the long hike around so I wouldn't blow my wind over this point in case deer were bedded there. Everything's going great. Step 5 feet off the field and start to grab my pull up rope and he busts out the bushes 5 feet away. all I could do was watch and hope he tripped over a corn stalk and broke his legs so I could chase him down and stick him.

Just smoked a doe at 41 yards she damn near did a flip . She went down 10 yards a way I couldn't tell if she got back up or not

My stand seat was soaked from this morning so I went to a spot that I had set up as a natural ground blind. I have never seen a bobcat in the wild, until this evening! Was about 10 yards away and never even looked at me. I thought about shooting it, but let it pass. Was super cool to watch.

30 minutes later, I heard the most terrifying noise, followed by said bobcat chasing a fawn 5 ft past my blind. Cool to watch, but also just about peed my pants! Those things are loud!

41 yards complete pass through both shoulders . Shot was a little forward . Was t going to take it but it was a perfect angle and she had no idea I was there .

Well I missed a nice 8 with a muzzleloader.... I have never missed 4 deer my whole life combined. Until this season, I have missed 4 nice bucks and killed 1 doe. I need a pick me up

Well I shot a big slick at about 20 yards knocked her down blood everywhere. Watched her crashed down about 20 yards farther away. Waited about 30 mins got down no where to be found. I dont know what happened but i feel pretty terrible
