Got some new caps today to shoot a gun I just bought and the caps take two or three hits before they snap could it be the caps or the gun. Thanks for any help

Well what kind of gun is it? I know I had a revolver that would only fire right with #10s. #11s would have to be hit twice. Once to seat and once to fire.

That's the right ones. Was the gun used? Could have had the nipple swapped out before you got it. I'd try some CCIs and see if it happends again, if so get a new nipple.

I'd put a new nipple on it; they're fairly cheap. That's the correct cap and should fire fine on the first try.

Well I tried the cci caps with no luck still taking two or three times before it goes off. I have a new nipple on the way when it gets hear I'll try it out and report back. Thanks

Got my gun fixed. I'm late but still taking it out this weekend. It ended up being my main spring was wore out got the new one in tonight and she is fireing strong
