6th Annual Wilcox Area Chamber Big Buck Contest Over $12,000 in prizes. Overall top 3 in Adult category, overall top 3 in youth (under 16), Prizes for top 3 archery kills in addition. Monthly winners. 2 day big doe contest. Eligible counties: Wilcox, Dallas, Marengo, Clarke, Monroe, Butler, Lowndes. Entry fee: $20 adult / $10 youth. Prizes:
Adult Division:
1st: Large Big Green Egg with Table, 50 qt. Yeti cooler, 4 gal. Bayou Classic Fish Fryer, 2 day hog hunt at Pursley Creek Hunting Club, $500 Gift Certificate, Wild Game Innovation camera.
2nd: Browning Xbolt 7mm-08, Weber 22 kettle grill, 45 qt. Yeti cooler, Bushnell 18-36x50 mm spotting scope, $250 gift certificate.
3rd: Moultrie Feeder, Wildgame Innovation camera, $250 gift certificate.
Youth Division (15 and under)
1st: Savage Axis Youth 243 bolt action, Wildgame Innovation camera, Wild Game Innovation tablet, 2 day hog hunt at Pursley Creek Hunting Club, Ground blind, $500 gift certificate.
2nd: Ruger 10-22 rifle, brick of 22 ammo, Wildgame Innovation camera, Wildgame Innovation tablet, $250 gift certificate.
3rd: Wildgame Innovation camera, Ground blind, $250 gift certificate.
Archery: These prizes are in addition to any others qualified for in the Adult and Youth categories.
1st: PSE bow with accessories, 45 qt. Yeti cooler, Bushnell Range finder, Block target, $500 gift certificate.
2nd: 20 qt Yeti cooler, block target, thermocell and holster, $250 gift certificate.
3rd: Wildgame Innovation camera, Ground blind, $250 gift certificate.
Monthly contest: $250 for the largest adult and largest youth kill each month. Oct and Nov are considered one month as well as January and February.
Big doe contest: Jan 2 and 3.
1st place: $500 gift cert.
2nd place: $250 gift cert.
3rd place: $100 gift cert
All ticket holders will be entered for a drawing for three, $100 gift certificates at the end of the contest.
Most Unique Deer Picture Contest:
Submit your picture to hornswamp@yahoo.com. Entries will be posted to the contest's facebook page and winners determined by the ones receiving the most likes. 1st place: $250 gift certificate, 2nd place: $150 gift certificate, 3rd place: 4100 gift cert.
