looks like a late 90s - early 00s Vanguard to me. fine rifle rebadged Howa 1500.
Go with the flow and you will end up down the drain!

This is stupid cheap.
Howa builds a very nice gun/stong action that incorporates many of the Weatherby Mark V's features into the Mauser 98. That's really what this action is. In the same sense that Howa made the Weatherby Mark V's for years...Nobody calls those a Howa. Either way they make a dam fine gun.
Throw a B&C stock on this rifle and you've got a much nicer setup than today's typical $500-800 tupperware jobs.
If I didn't already have a .300WBY I'd have already bought this.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
