LFFK = Live From Fort Knox! Today's my first of three days up here on a muzzleloader hunt. Figured I'd stay out of the bow LFTT stands since I'm not slingin' an arrow. I'm set up at the top of a hilltop funnel in a bunch of hardwoods. Should be a good travel corridor, cause the ridge I'm on is really steep and there's only two funnels on it for its entire length. 63 degrees here now, and will get into the mid 50's by dark. Tomorrow morning (drum roll please)...... the forecast calls for 33 degrees!!! I might see something this evening, but tomorrow morning looks to be perfect. Hope so anyway. My views right now.
Jesus... I hope you know Him personally like I do.

Haven't even seen a squirrel so far - been on stand since 1pm. Today's set is just therapy - tomorrow is when I expect to see deer moving.

Saw 5 does really late. No bucks. I'll be getting at 'em first thing in the morning! I'll keep this thread going until I'm done up here. Good luck to everyone who hunts tomorrow.

[quote=Atoler]Good luck buddy! I'll be up there next weekend bow hunting. May have to pm you and get some tips. I still don't think we've recieved our gun hunt tags.
Question- do you have to register a muzzleloader? Or is it just slug guns? [/quote
PM me Monday and we'll talk specifics on hunting up here.
You do NOT have to register a ML. Instead it's just slug guns like you said.

I got in the stand about 45 minutes before legal shooting time this morning. So far I've only seen a squirrel. I did see 5 does while driving in this morning, so I know they moved some.

Good luck..it for sure beats being here at work X2. Only 22 more work hours and I will be off for 7 days. Slick heads Beware.
