I planted these on Sept 25, just before we received over a 1 1/2 inches of rain. This is our first year to plant the WMS Deer Magnet. We added some tall tine tubers, winter greens, buck forage oats and rape. Should be inviting or at least I hope so.

These are pics of 5 of the 12 plots we planted.

Before and After

I wasn't paying super close attention, and as I slowly scrolled down to see the progression of growth, this is what I thought: dirt...grass...HOW DID TREES GROW SO FAST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD?!

Must have been that rain...

Those first 2 pictures look similar but they must be different plots?

The pictures look great, but you're scaring me. Am I the only one that hasn't planted yet?

We have not planted yet in LA. Im not worried don't need the plots for bow anyhow. Planning on planting around the 17th. Those plots look nice, smooth.

They are the same plots just taken at slightly different position.

we planted WMS Alabama Blend on Monday (Labor Day) Sept 7, luckily got some good rain and fields were coming in by the next weekend. They look great now. Very impressed with the seed. Worth the price tag.

I plan on hitting them with 34-0-0 60 days after like it says on the bag.

This pic is day 14 after planting.

Yep, we planted WMS Alabama Blend last year and I was pleased with it. We just decided to try the next level product this year, primarily because of all the various clovers that were in the mix that we hope will benefit us more during turkey season.

Great looking plot by the way.

Naw! Us either! Fields are plowed but last weeks rain made it to sticky to plant. Plus after all the rain I got to turn the dirt again.

Good looking fields Muzzie! thumbup

Almost makes me ashamed to call my little clearings in the woods plots! Haha. They sure are looking good.
