You looking for paper maps or online maps? You can't get online topo maps from that site. You can try terraserver or similar sites for online maps. If you are looking for paper maps, you should be able to order USGS too maps online. That area is probably on the Hytop quad. CD.

Just looking at that pic, the saddle below the point if you take the south fork of the main road has been good to me in the past. There's an old airplane further down the west side of the point from the saddle. Kinda neat to look at. Also, there used to be some good early bow hunts by that wet spot north of the road on top. There used to be a couple good persimmon trees there but it's been several years since I've been to them. Not sure if they got cut or not. I hunted that property for several years before it went public. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Looks like you have some serious relief going on there. My best guess for free tops would be to look at quarter quad maps.

I'm looking for digital topo maps to overlay in GE Pro

Somewhere I saw high res TIFF images with topo lines on them, that's what I'm looking for now

I think this is what you need. Works with Google Earth or Google Earth Pro. A little clunky at times, but I have found it useful.

Thats some good stuff right there. I now have it saved to my Google Earth and can turn it on and off as a layer as I please.

Thanks.

I've been in there several times and I've heard tell of that airplane. I've yet to find it, next time I go there I'll look again with your directions. Thanks!

Yes it is! I was trying to do thie exact same thing, one small topomap patch at a time. Now I'm running all over the country in real time doing it ... excellent!

There are no deer there. Go away. LOL

I've wanted to hunt that saddle also, but just haven't made the effort yet.

I thank God that I hunt flat ground. I know every deer I shot would run to the bottom of that and die. Then I would spend the next 8 hours dragging it back up to the top.

Been there a many of times, better get some good boots with thick soles, you'll wear the soles off pretty quickly up there.

I dont but if you look at the first map Huntinman posted, it's a little East of where it says 2015 Google.

Yep, best I remember it is on the end of that point North (?)of where it says Google 2015 . Been a long time since I've been to it though.

The way that map is layed out I think it would be North. Top of the page is West I think. 79 runs basically North/South.
