Good luck man! Just went through this a couple years ago with my wife. She likes going, especially once they started making clothes cut for women so they actually fit instead of my hand me downs lol. Got her first deer 2 seasons ago. Decided to get her own gun last year and she killed a doe. Some guys don't like their significant other going, but I do most of the time. Sometimes it is a little aggravating though and limits how I can hunt, but as long as she likes going, I'll keep taking her.

I was surprised she said "yes" to the idea right off the bat. Won't be hiking 2 miles into the woods or anything, but looking forward to it.

My wife will deer hunt occasionally and actually killed her first buck before I did (although hers was a small one) but we don't have a place to deer hunt at all this year and I don't know if she really loved it or just kinda tolerated it.

I'd love for her to get into turkey hunting so we'd have something we could enjoy together but I don't see it happening.

Don't take it for granted, there are a lot of guys that would kill for their wives to share their love of hunting.
