I get a call about every week from someone claiming to be with A.C.E.O.A. wanting me to advertise with them. Every time I ask them to email me the info they say their email is down. They say the advertising $ goes to them sponsoring sick children.

They are a legitimate organization comprised of conservation enforcement officers. They sponsor a hunt each year in Dallas County for disabled children. The executive director is one of our retired Lowndes County conservation officers. The advertisement is for the magazine they publish a few times a year.

Yes, it is legit and the magazine editor is a lady that was my secretary for a few years. I still see her at city hall most days. Is there anything you would like me to ask her?

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

No, I just found it strange for the past month their email has been down. I don't know anyone who would let their personal email be down a day let alone a business.

The executive director may be a bit preoccupied right now coaching the Lowndes Academy peewee football team.

The real ACEOA does sponsor our Life Hunts program, and they get most of their funding through advertising in the magazine. I will forward this to the people there and let them know.
