I wouldn't say pointing out that the bumper makes his car unsafe is bashing the man. His airbags should should have gone off and his neck would be much better off if they did. Consider it friendly advice.

I was not bashing him at all. I had a heavy frt bumper with a 8274 Warn on a 92 Chevy z71 once. I almost creamed (T Boned) some teenage girls once who pulled out in frt of me in a small car and thought to myself how bad it would have been if I had hit them. Since then I have not wanted a heavy bumper. Also, some sue happy lawyer could make it bad for anyone defeating/imparing safety devices if someone gets hurt/killed in your vehicle.

I assume you meant to say that neither driver should have gone faster than they could see around the corner. Its like driving in fog or rain. You should only go as fast as you can stop in that distance.

I too an thankful that it was truck to truck and not ATV, SBS or pedestrian.

This makes me think of the spots on my farm that this could occur. I may not be able to widen the entire road but I WILL make the dangerous curves wide enough for two trucks to pass.

Glad everyone is ok, but I agree that it shouldn't have happened.

If you told your buddies this would happen, you should have taken the liberty to clear the brush and trees out before it happened.

Glad everyone is ok. I broke my forearm in half when my atv flipped over backwards on top of me. I had 20 gallons of gly in my sprayer and started up a bank and well the rest is history. I was out of work 10 weeks. Thank god for Aflac. I agree, clubs can be very dangerous. Dumbest thing i ever done.

Wow

Did you really just post that? You made a stupid fricking mistake that could have easily killed or severely injured someone and your response when you get called out on it is:

"shucks happens"

It sure is early in the day to be drunk, and that is the only excuse to say something that stupid. This might have been an accident but it was completely preventable.

1. If you had been driving slower around a blind curve it would not have happened.

2. If you had properly maintained the road it would not have happened.

Now you can flame me or complain all you want but it will not change the fact about # 1 & 2.

I too am glad that everyone walked away without any injuries. but I believe sumpter is pointing out by your own admission that both parties should have been going less than 10 mph to navigate that curve safely.

That being said, we have all probably driven faster than we should have at times and have been fortunate that we too haven't had the same thing happen to us. So it is a reminder to all of us to slow down when necessary.

Man I am glad that you nor the other driver were hurt! We have a road that has this same issue, it is a county road that leads to my lease! Again, you were fortunate! Take some of the words on here as genuine concern or advice, ignore the others and don't sweat it! That being said, that YOYO held up pretty good! Hope the neck is better soon!

I'm glad you were there. And can tell me what would have made it not happen. Regardless the point is that it did happen. You know how some things are completely out of your control yeah this was on of those times. This is why people who were on this sight for years are leaving because of retards like you. Sorry I made a mistake bud I'll do my best to be as good as you are one day because we all know you don't make mistakes.

No I was not there. You are asking me to tell you what you should have done to keep it from happening. Well thats real simple:

SLOW DOWN TO A SPEED THAT YOU CAN STOP WITHIN THE SIGHT DISTANCE.

There is nothing in my post that can be refuted. If you had been driving a slower speed the accident would not have happened.

And if people leave this site (note I spelled it correctly) it is because of mouth breathing idiots like you.

Hell you probably would think if you had an accident while texting it "accidents happen, and so does shucks"

Dang man. Speaking from recent experience, take it easy on that concussion. They are not to be taken lightly like I did.

Actually even if he had been going 10 and could stop and other guy was still doing 25-30 and couldn't then that accident still happens. So actually that statement can be refuted.
