The american whitetails seem to work and expand well. The cheap part is a bonus. Ive stocked up on them for as low as $13 a box in 7mm-08.

PSA ran a sale on them last year. 7mm08, 30-06,270,243, and 308 all for $13 a box and free shipping for $50 or more order. I stocked up well on it. Ive seen it on sale also at other places for $15-17 Those prices put it right down there with the cheapest I have found in 7mm-08 which is PPU 140gr SP. Thats what I use for hogs/varmits and can find it for $12-15 a box.

I've killed a plenty with 139 SST Hornady Light Mags. They are mean but not made any more. I have several boxes that I'd sell, shooting a .308 now.
