I bought a jeep and every time I drive it my back goes to hurting. The seat is too soft and has no lumbar support. I'm either going to replace the seats all together or have someone rebuild them. I'm looking for suggestions for the latter. New firm cushion, springs, and covers all the way around. Ideas?

Are you sure it is the seats? Jeeps typically have a very rough ride? Yeah, it is likely a combination but I'm hoping with a new seat it is better. I've used a small lumbar pillow and it helps so I think I'm on the right track.

If I recline mine back a little it seems to fit my lower back better and should help. On the cheap, you could get some seats out of a 04-06 TJ, Cherokee or grand Cherokee from a salvage yard.

I would personaly replace the seats.
I hate the seats in mine also, just never got around to it.
What year model jeep did you get? It was fairly common for people to replace the seats out of the jeeps with seats from other vehicles.

This. Lots of good aftermarket comfortable seats out there for Jeeps for what it would cost to upholster the current seats.

I don't know about this model but alot of people put cavalier or sunfire seats in the yjs.
I have a yj and need to do something different.
