I was lucky enough to have my hands on a deerstalker for a few years. I always tried buying it off my uncle but he would never sale it. It was an awesome lightweight wood stalking machine that would feed any round you put thru it. He said he would be buried with it and it wouldn't never be sold. I enjoyed blowing up armadillos at 50-100yrds with Winchester silvertips to pass the time. Any pest was not safe from that rifle i called it Thor's little hammer. This is a good deal cause you hardly ever see these carbines for sale

Hmm this is very tempting. That's what I killed my first deer with 20 years ago. It was a gun I was borrowing from my dad's hunting buddy that I hunted a lot with and learned a lot from. I've occasionally looked for another one in good shape, and id say this is a beautiful specimen.
