Another rotomolded cooler enters the market at HALF the price of a Yeti! This guys could grab a nice chunk of the market share at those prices. Look to be well made as well. http://www.rticcoolers.com/

Do they make a Yeti sticker big enough to cover up that RTIC? Seriously... I'm going to pre-order one also... I just need to decide on the size. I may get a 65 and a 20. We need a big one for the cabin and a small one for other short trips.

I can see myself buying the 20 one day soon.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I was wondering how all of these other companies could get away with basically reproducing the Yeti line with impunity. So I am guessing Yeti doesn't have a strong patent or good lawyers?

I was wondering the same thing. You don't see many of the big boys making yeti cooler, so maybe the little guys don't know any better.

I've been looking for an excuse to get a 20.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

You are correct. No patent. I have a college friend making very similar coolers to the Yeti, but I think they priced them very similar to Yeti (too high).

Those are good looking coolers. Shelton's in moulton has good prices on orcas and mammoth coolers too. Comparable prices to these?

I've been wanting a 20qt and I was looking at Yeti because I already have one of their products. This is half the price. I think I'll try one.

Dang. I wish I was getting commission on this. They have a facebook page as well. They seem a bit overwhelmed by the number of reservations. It will be interesting to see how the early shipping goes and how fast they can fill these orders.

I cant remember right off what his price was on the orca's. He did have some seconds that were really cheap they just had some hazy looking spots on them.
