The new jurassic park movie hype got me to thinking... how many of yall really think there were dinosaurs in the past? I know they've supposively found bones and keep them in museums but really right down to it... Does anyone on here think they're a myth?

Nope. I tend to side with hard evidence.

I think dinosaurs are real, but idk about the time frame in which they existed.

Fossils are kind of hard to dispute.

I believe God created things with age. He didn't just sprinkle seeds on the ground. Now what killed them off is still up for debate.

There is a great debate about the creation... If it was done in a literal 6 days, or of there was a great space of time between the days.

Im convinced it was in a literal 6 day span. He created the plants before the sun. Obviously, plants can't live without sunlight for an extended period of time. Therefore, it stands to reason that the sun was created the very next 24hr period, just like the Bible says.

Okay cool were getting some good feedback so far, this all started with a discussion amongst some buddies and some believe there were and some belive there weren't....

Ding, ding, ding!...... beat me to it. And it might not have been just simply drowning in the water either. Now this is conjecture for sure, but whatever caused "the fountains of the deep to burst forth" had to be catastrophic in scope, perhaps a MASSIVE energy release upwards from something like craters/volcanos etc. I believe I could prove there was originally a water layer in the atmosphere (which would block UV rays), and I think the event collapsed that water layer. If you study Noah's lineage, there was a feller named "Peleg", and he's the only one that had a footnote ("In his days the earth was divided"). He lived during the flood, and all those before him lived hundreds of years, while all those after him steadily decreased in lifespan. What happened??....UV could now reach the earth's surface, deterioration and death was sped up. It's plausible to say the whole realm of earth is so much different post-flood that the dinos could not live.

All I know, is that Daniel White believes that man walked on the moon......

I want to live far, far away from people who don't believe dinosaurs once roamed the earth.

A preacher at a church we attended when I was a kid believed that satan put dino bones here to confuse people.I asked him one time if he believed that satan created them because they had to come from somewhere and he just evaded the subject.
