Alright fellas, we've decided that the range is gonna be fine so we thought we'd invite everyone on May 16th to come out and shoot. Here's the down low.


We're gonna do a $20 dollar entry fee and paying back 50%. We are gonna do 2 practice rounds. Once everyone has shot their 2 rounds, we're gonna start the tourney. It will be head to head, single elimination. We're not gonna do different divisions, basically shoot what you bring and hope you brought enough. It will be 45 yard max distance, 6 target rounds. Scoring will be like a regular 3d shoot. 12-10-8-5-0. We're gonna draw names when everyone arrives and put you in a bracket.

Everyone is welcome, tell all your buddies.

We will serve some kind of food, hamburgers or bbq or something. We haven't figured that one out yet.

May 16th practice starts at 10 AM.

I would love to give it a try but I have only one day off that weekend and I will be shooting the BHA central zone championship series in autaga county that day. Sure wish you were going to do it on march 23.

The weekend we picked is the only one in the near future that we can do. We plan to have a few more this summer.

Tournament is still on for this weekend as of right now depending on the rain.

We're gonna cancel the shoot tomorrow. We can't afford to get these range controls wet. We will have another one scheduled soon.

I will sir. I know for 100% sure we're gonna do one on June 20th. That will be Jackson Co. BHA's second shoot. We will cut off the 3d range around 1 PM and start the pop up tournament as soon as everyone's done with their round. I'm gonna try and have one before then tho.

you do realize that this is a BHA triple crown weekend and that we were asked not to have shoots on these weekends!

Is the triple crown not the first weekend in June? This was the date that was scheduled for me at the board meeting, as far as I know nothing has changed. At least I haven't heard of it.

no it was last weekend. it doesn't matter to me anyway. you are way to far north to have any impact on their turnout

How did the shoot turn out?

Well not so good. It was short notice and the ones that told me they'd be there had some things to come up.

We will be having one for sure on the 20th of this month. We will have our second BHA tournament that same weekend. We are gonna cut Saturdays shoot off at 12. That way we can have everyone off the range and get the pop ups going. Hope to see you guys there.
