My elliptical has been stuck on the highest resistance setting for a LONG time. Therefore I just quit using it a LONG time ago. Finally got serious about dropping weight and building some endurance and pulled the side panels off that sucker. Seems that the resistance control motor may be giving up the ghost. $80 for a new motor but a little sweat and a 12 cent screw makes it perfectly adjustable just like new. I have to leave the side panels off till I figure out a way to adjust with them on but the wheel cover is on and that's where I was likely to get tangled up and break something. Now, let the torturous path to better health begin.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I bought an "under the desk" elliptical a few weeks back. I have been doing ~10 miles/day at work. It seems like walking ~1-2 miles.
Several years ago I had an "under the desk admin". Not sure on the mileage but probably quite high.
