This is the easiest and quickest airport I've ever been thorough. However, I haven't been through as many as some of y'all. After saying this, I sure my luggage won't make it to my destination. laugh

I agree, I fly ATL a good bit with not many issues. I guess my worst airport is between Raleigh and Houston Hobby. Bad experiences are usually because of the airlines though.

Atlanta is fine.
Miami sucks.
Houston, somewhere between the two.
Rio De Janeiro, sucks, but there are worse.
Trinidad is fine, just outdated.
Veracruz, sucks REAL bad.
Montgomery, probably the easiest smaller airport I travel through.

Atlanta is not bad at all. But, I do my best to never check a bag. I can pack for a week in a carry on, unless I have to take a suit.

If your destination includes a stop at Chicago, you'd be correct.

Whoever designed Atlanta's airport was a genius. The parallel straight terminals are simply a superior design for travelers over the semi-circles or V's found at most other major airports. Shorter walks, and shorter tram rides to get from one terminal to another, and easier access to restaurants. I spent 6 years of my life flying somewhere every single week. Saw the Atlanta airport at least twice a week during that time...sometimes more.

ATL is easy. Straight lines, baby.

Dallas is the worst.

Charlotte (aka "Walking International Airport") is a close second to worst.

The Atlanta airport is easy, it's getting stuck on the runways when that weather computer system kicks in that kicks my ass. BWI is by far the best airport I've ever been in and Boston is by far the worst....I hate that place. Flying out of Pensacola suits me just fine, where they know you by name laugh

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

Atlanta has always been great. Made the mistake of switching over in Chicago and never again will that happen. Dallas has always been a hassle. Houston was pretty nice though along with Denver. I avoid Las Vegas like the plague though.

Best I've ever been through was the "big tent" airport in Denver, worst was in General Mitchell international in Milwaukee.....it was awful. That being said when I do fly anywhere, which is rare, the hell with huntsville airport, I head to Nashville.

Going through Birmingham, Atlanta, and Kansas City next week. Never been to KC before. Anything I should know about it?

I hate Atlanta! I guess it's more of a hate for Delta. Every time me or my wife have flown Delta with a stop in Atlanta they have lost our luggage or cancelled my flight after they have flown me in there from montgomery. I will fly with any other airline besides delta now.

Atl seems A Lot bigger than most, but is usually smooth considering. Going from hobby to atl in a few.

You may be even more dissatisfied with other airlines. ALL airlines have cancellations for one thing or another. With Delta however, and especially Atlanta there are so many other flights it is somewhat easy to jump on another within a couple hours.

Try that with some of the other airlines and you may wait an entire 24 hours before the next flight.
