On what for deer hunting do you spend $2.53. About 3 rounds of core lokt bullets. That's enough for 3 deer!
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

Ya'll are just overthinking it now

If a Club is producing solid 130 plus inch bucks a year and up I wouldn't have a problem shelling out a little extra but I cant see paying thousands of dollars to kill a deer . I guess I am different i am not a killer i look to kill one good buck a year if i do that i am happy but to each his own . I feel exactly the same way If I could kill one mountable buck say 130+ and a couple does to eat each year and see deer most of the time I go hunting I would be happy happy happy and wouldn't mind paying. But even then there is a limit I guess. same

I currently pay around $2000 for one club and $700 for another. If I could find the right club in a preferred area, I would be willing to drop both places and pay as much as $3,000.

I probably spend $2500 total between feeding, club dues, fields at the house and other things.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

The responses on this thread confirm what I have noticed when I have been looking for clubs. Seems most clubs fall into two categories. What I would call cheaper clubs $1,000 and under which is normally 100 acres per member clubs and few restrictions. Or what I would call expensive clubs $2,000 and up and lean toward trophy management. With not a lot of in the middle clubs. I paid $2,200 last year this year I don't know yet.

I currently pay 2,500 IT'S YA'LLS TIME AND MONEY!! DOESN'T AFFECT ME AND IS TOTALLY UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND THEIR FAMILY!! Therefor, there is no right or wrong answer. No justifying to anyone.
But, I am curious how much people spend TOTAL on hunting in 1 year?? Then I would like to know what a bass fisherman spends TOTAL in 1 year??
Would like to see the comparison just out of curiosity. I currently pay 2,500 for club dues..But I never keep up with how much I spend for the whole hunting season. I don't really wanna know!!!
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Bottom line is that you can't take it with you. Enough said.

Max I'd pay at this point in my life is about $1,200.00 per year. Sadly, that doesn't seem to get you much these days. As my boys get older and if they are more into it I'll either lease my own land or just spend more time fishing with them if prices keep going up...which they always do.

I'm not posting on a public forum (where my wife can see) what I pay/would pay.
I hope to draw in Colorado and it will be the reverse of winning a lottery. That statement could cause a feller to loose his man card

I would pay 3g a year if I could find something to lease on my own. I have just about reached the point I am ready to hang it up and find another hobby. This is VERY do-able. Biggest hindrance is whether you have the equipment to do plots, road work, etc. An ATV can do the bulk of the plot work (CNC style) but it sure is nice to have a tractor to box blade the roads, etc. Soterra, Rayonier, Weyerhauser, RMS, Plum Creek, Meadwestvaco, AL Power and many others all have smaller places they lease. Find one close enough to home and the enjoyment you can have doing it yourself will make you wonder why you ever joined a club.
