I'm also learning a new property, but not gonna make any (more) excuses! I hunted the adjoining property last year, and didn't kill my first until April 5th. I'll be back after them next week and try to add some points for us.

Showed up and had one at 8 steps for my buddy's first of the season by 7:30, then I took another member and had a double coming in and he killed the looker instead of the strutter and never gave me a shot... Should have been 3 turkeys dead yesterday, I'm not sure when I'll get to hunt for myself again but hopefully it'll be soon. congrats duckdown on your 4th.... Lonster good job getting number two on the board. you other fellas are gonna have to tighten up... if you're anywhere between Dothan and Montgomery I'll be more than welcome to come try and help you out "All is fair in love, War and Turkey Hunting"

Nothing bad but still learning this property and some of my set ups havent been ideal. Haven't really spooked any birds just wasn't able to get shots off. I still feel good about this season; I get to hunt a pretty good bit especially once this week is over. Had one strutting in a pasture today next to me that I can't hunt. Hope to catch up with him a little earlier tomorrow. Either way I'll finally get to hunt my Winston Co club starting Wednesday and it's usually good for 3-4 birds. Congrats to you guys!! I hope to get on a hot streak in the next few days.
