Fella's, let me tell you I just had one heck of a meal there. I was one of 33 in my group. We had a room all to ourselves, and they had prepared for us a buffet line in our room that was all ours. We had salad, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, Mac n cheese, popcorn shrimp, baked salmon, fried chicken tenders, and banana pudding. It was dang good! All I can say is wow.

Last night our group ate at Lady & Sons. The Pirate's House made Lady & Sons look like a High school cafeteria.

Pics from tonight!

Wasn't much left afterwards.

I'd recommend Pirate's House to anyone that's going through Savannah. My wife and I agreed that we would eat here again if we are ever back this way. thumbup

My In Laws were just down there this past weekend. They ate at Mrs. Wilkes and had very good meal there.
The Pirates House will be on the list for the next trip.

If you want something a little different drive over to Rincon and eat at the Shnitzel Shack. Authentic German and Thai food. A native German man married a Thai woman and they opened a restaurant . They have 2 separate menus and the food is
outstanding. It's about 15 minutes north of Savannah.

Mrs Wilkes can't be beat. Lady and Sons is good, just like a 100 southern cooking places in Alabama. Nothing special.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I haven't been to the Pirate's House since 1980, but it was dang good back then.

Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.

It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.
