NEF Huntsman. It's discontinued, but a dang good muzzleloader. I also have a CVA Optima Elite. I've killed deer at well over 100yds with both, one over 200 , but the NEF is what I hunt with 99.99% of the time. I've talked to several guys that shoot the new Traditions Vortek LDR, and if I were buying a new one, it's what I would probably go with.

I prefer a more traditional muzzleloader. I recently picked up a Springfield hawken, but I still lust after a fullstock flintlock.

Thompson Center Omega topped with a Zeiss Diavarti. One hole shooter at 100 yards.

Knight MK-85 was the old go to, but I hated cleaning that thing. I wanted to shoot Black Horn powder in the Knight but was warned not to do it. So I simply retired the Knight and bought the T C. Hated to put the Knight down after killing my best deer ever with it. No kidding about the T C shooting one hole! It is accurate as any gun I have ever owned.

Picture of my TC Omega. It is stainless with Leupold mounts and a silver Zeisd Diavarti scope. It also has a custom thumb hole stock that makes it fit like a glove. This gun with 90 grains of Blackhorn 209 and a 250 grain TC Shockwave will shoot a ragged one hole group at 100 yards. Most accurate me I have ever seen in my life.

Got this for a great price. I wouldn't take double what I gave for it today.

When my son graduated from high school I bought him a TC Encore Pro Hunter in 50 caliber. The gun had the Real Tree thumb hole stock on it and it also was stainless. I also put a Leupold 3 x 9 x 50 on it. This was the one that broke the bank.

I've got an old Remington 700ML 50cal that shoots 1 ragged hole at 100yds with Barnes 300gr Expanders over 100gr of loose Pyrodex Select. Probably never will own a different front stuffer.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Those 700 Remington's make a fine smokeless ML. They are in big demand for those wanting a smokeless build.

Yes they are. Mine is the blued version and I'd love to have a stainless and have the bolt changed to 209 primer setup. I'm still shooting percussion caps on mine and have never had a misfire but I'm meticulous on keeping her clean.

I have several, but I shoot a T/C Renegade .54 more than anything else.

I've got a CVA Optima Pro but prefer my Thompson Hawkens in .45 and .50 cal. I even bought a Green Mtn. Long Range Hunter barrel for the .50 with 1-28 twist. Shooting 385 gr. Great Plains Conicals.
