I just made one of the best batches I've had. I always struggle between the two bases. I bought a bag of slaw and added in one whole chopped jalapeno seeds and all and made both of these sauces:
Mayo Based: (this is Big Bob Gibson's "white sauce") 1/2 C Mayo 1/4 C Water 2 tbs Cider Vinegar 1/2 tsp Lemon juice 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish S&P 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper 1 tbs sugar
Vinegar Based 1 Cup Sugar 1 tsp salt 2/3 Cup Veg Oil 1 tbs Dijon Mustard 1 Cup Cider Vinegar
I kept adding a little of both wet mixes until I got it right. It's basically 50/50 and you only need about half of each batch for one big bag of slaw. The key is adding a little at a time, stir and let it sit 10 minutes. It's way too easy to add too much.
Going on my crock pot boston butt (a first).
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I love good slaw and hate bad slaw. Me too and I can't stand ANY kind of sweet slaw.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I love the slaw and hush puppies they bring out before the meal at Ezell's. I usually ruin my appetite for dinner because i eat too much of it.

I'm a Cole Slaw connoisseur. I love good slaw and hate bad slaw. There is not much in between.
I mostly mimic Cock of the Walk slaw because that is what I have the most experience with. Sometimes I mimic David's. It is a much sweeter/ fine chopped slaw. Both are mayo based. Never have teetered with any vinegar based. I'll give yours a try.
To me David's has the best slaw;I could eat a gallon of that stuff. If we eat slaw here at the house we just go up there and buy it.

Yellow or white. That's all you need to know. We aint talking potato salad and you better not be speaking of yellow slaw.
