So Alhawk has brought this up a few times and we kicked the idea around but it's something I think would be a lot of fun. Basically those of us that live on the coast could adopt one of you yankee bastards and have an inshore fishing tournament. It would depend on how many people in the Mobile area have boats and would be willing to participate and how many of you yanks would want to make the ride down, then we could figure out dates. I could even house one or two people at my house for a weekend.
All that being said, who would be interested in coming down and who would be interested in adopting a yank?

This isn't a gay fishing tournament so you couldn't make it anyway.

I have a boat that floats. Most times...
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Why don't we do it like this. Instead of having a set designated weekend let's do a few weekends that fit into everyone's schedule. It can be any weekend you want it to be. Like a total of six weekends or twelve days. 6 days for offshore and six days for inshore. You have to take a picture and post here with a date and what you caught and also send it in a text group message. The six weekends can start from the first day of spring until the last day of summer. What y'all say?

Screw inshore, I dont even pull back the throttle until 40 miles unless it's to catch bait. Usually end up 50-60. Jigging is my drug. Screw that, you can have it. I dont miss being beat up, sore and broke. Too much time and $$ back when you could actually keep a few fish let alone now. Out of curiosity, What size boat are you running 50 miles out in?

Not the owner just a work to go fishing deck hand. My buddy is the one with all the toys. He's just got in to offshore fishing and let's me tag along seeing how I got a little experience at it. Heck of a deal! I was packing up the truck, fix in to head out.. Oh I guarantee if it was mine I would take as many as y'all as I could. My daddy did when we had boats and so would I. Ain't nothing like offshore fishing but to me it ain't enough sugar for a dime here lately with all the federal regulations that are killing the recreational fisherman. When we are down I'll fish from the surf, pier, kayak big boat or small boat. Don't make no difference to me. It's all good!

I've got a 29ft world cat with twin 250's on it. The cat makes for a smoother ride when it turns nasty. I still pick my days and watch the forecast. If I ever meet that feller named Noah, I'm gonna slap him for screwing up so much.😊

Here's my ride. I need a crew though. Never seen a 85' Scarborough on the Gulf Coast Um, that's why I keep her in Costa Rica or Cabo most of the time. I figured I would jump in my Citation, go pick up Kate Upton, and go get her and bring her up here. Duh!

While y'all argue over who has the biggest cobia tower, WDE05 and I are going to win this thing. See y'all at the ramp. Here is a pic of my rig. Well damn but I bet TC has already thought of that.
