Thanks for the info on prodiamine. I found a 5lb jug of liquid, enough to treat 3-5 acres for 62.85 at doyourownpestcontrol.com. It's called prodiamine 65 wdg. That's pretty cheap for enough to do my lawn several times.

Make sure and read the label for max yearly rate. Do not exceed this. Too much will have a negative impact on your turf. Causes club rooting and the bermuda to not spread and run as it supposed to. Multiple application of the product is better than one big application.

Just applied some Dimension. Didn't have a setting on the bag for my Scotts Speedy Green drop spreader. Put it on 7 and used about a half a bag. Hope I didn't go too heavy and/or went heavy enough. I just did my front yard which is roughly 5,000 sq ft

lefthorn, I've never used granular homeowner chemicals but I would think the bag would tell you how much square footage it should cover.

I just applied my prodiamine. The rain this afternoon should work it in good! Hope that crabgrass doesn't come back.

Bag says to use no more than 5.46 lb/1,00sqft/app. 5,000 sq ft should be 27.3lb. Bag is 50 lb so I think I'm good

Can it rain too much after applying prodiamine? I've gotten almost 1.25" since I put it out yesterday.
