[img:center]  [/img] NO...That's not a picture of my son. However it is his wife with her very first deer (with a legal weapon, she has an impressive kill record with automobiles). [img:center]  [/img] My son and his wife live in Florida and like me he works offshore. You would think we have plenty of time to hunt but family obligations seem to take away from time in the woods. This being the last weekend to hunt and he hadn't got a deer this year I told them to get in one of my honey hole stands so he could shoot one. Well yesterday morning this young buck steps out and he told her she could shoot it if she wanted to. She had never shot the 300wm he had with him but that didn't stop her. Unfortunately she missed and got aquainted with the eye piece of the scope in the process. They asked me where they should go for the evening hunt and got discouraged when I told them to get back in the same stand. About 4 pm I heard a shot. She had taken my sons first rifle, a 270, and shot a buck. I told them to stay in the stand and I would get down at dark and help them track it. In the meantime I killed a 8 pt. By the time I got mine loaded up it was dark. I got over to their stand and they had him loaded up. It was the same buck she missed that morning. My son made her track it although he could see the deer. I'm more proud of him because he was not selfish and put her wants ahead of his. [img:center]  [/img] She learned more than how to shoot a buck yesterday. She learned not to say "ain't nobody gonna rub blood on my face". Paw n Law won that wrestling match.
