See, something we agree on. The creed is alive and real. I didn't write the code, I just watch others live by it and when the Burbanks of the world are laughed and mocked by most AU fans which usually are AU alumnus. My family is half Auburn and they bring it up every time we discuss AU/Bama. So does every friend I know that ever went to Auburn. They kinda live by this creed and it IS something that is unique to AU. It's nothing I broke. I'm out of Ag parts and sell construction equipment parts btw and I've never made fun of Auburn as a school, it's a great school, and I have many friends and fambly that attended. They are wonderful people, I just make fun of the fans that AU fans can't openly make fun off. Trolling my profile page Burbank, it's really getting to you. No doubt! We've had this discussion on here before that Bama openly accepts and sidewalk fans while AU on the other hand hates the side walkers and makes t shirts mocking their rivals saying, I wear this shirt because I graduated from Auburn, you are wearing that shirt because you bought it at Wal mart. It's a great market ploy btw and fires up a fan base that is already tight knit and truly believes this. Just sharing that Burbank is an unwanted and unworthy AU fan and that he embarrasses the true Auburn man and is everything that they stand against. Don't shoot the messenger. This thread is funny... Alabama fans making fun of sidewalk fans  Every fanbase has them but Alabama has more than anyone else. Comes with being arguably the most popular college football team in America. So, just by volume UA has more idiots in their fanbase...

I had an Auburn fan do the exact same thing RareBreed is talking about.. Except he did not go to college there, or at all... Nor did he graduate high school. But, he is the first to tell you that alum BS...

Yea the whole " All Auburn fans are Alumni & Bama Fans Probably never even stepped on The campus at Tuscaloosa." Is the Douchiest most snobbery thing that I've ever seen a University/ fan base try to cling to. Maybe Auburn has something "Special"? I've yet to see it any time that I've visited their campus though.
I've got a lot of Auburn Buddies, Most of them Cling to the "Auburn fan=Auburn Alum" creed. Most of them either never went to Auburn or flunked out.
Congrats to the Williams kid, I wish him the best. There are however a thousand other kids that will be saying the same thing about the University of their choice, Whether it be an SEC school or Southwestern Northern Dakota. So in the end, his statement about Auburn being "special & different" isn't so "Special or different"

Different Williams. The Williams that burbank quoted is Darrell (a longtime Auburn commit LB from Hoover), I'm pretty sure. As a Bama fan, I don't fret what Williams said one bit. The results on the field during the Saban era bear out what he says. Want to work hard and consistently be part of an elite football team in the mix for the national championship every year? Go to Alabama. Want to have fun ("fun" being a relative term, I guess), and maybe be on a great team once during your 4 years, while being very mediocre the other 3 years? Go to Auburn.

Hey Burbank, I'm an Auburn fan but I didn't go there. Guess I'm not a "true Auburn man" and can't be a fan anymore. Well that sucks. Neither did Burbank and it doesn't stop him, so don't let it hold you back brother!
