What he said. It's a 40 horse diesel engine. As far as weight, I've seen it listed several different weights between 7500 and 9800 pounds. Never weighed it myself.

It ain't no fun when you try to push down some privet that has a hornets nest in it. Then back through a yellow jacket nest trying to get away. And then back into a large oak and have to pull back through them to get away. Been there, done that.

Now, that is a mighty small dozer. But small dozers have a lot of advantages. Easier to haul. Easier to get around in the woods. Easier and cheaper(but not cheap) to maintain. Can do a lot of work with a little dozer, just takes longer. About to get my little JD ready for spring work next week or two.
