We found blood spattering for about 50 yards that turned into drops every 5-10 feet and smears on sage grass and briars about 18-20" off the ground. Tracked him about 250 yards before trail completely petered out. He went down in a gulley and came back up so Im pretty sure there is no leg or shoulder damage. All blood save for the pic below was thin, seemed almost watered down. This is by far the most substantial thing we found. Dead deer?

Usually, if someone can see a deer well enough to know he has split G2's, he should be able to kill him with 4 shots. It's hard to say whether he's dead or not. Did you find any hair? If so, what color was it?
