Just curious what most of yall do and why?

Park at the gate and walk
Ride atv/utv in
Drive your truck in
Get dropped off/picked up at the stand
Sit in the truck with the heater on (my elderly uncle does this watching road crossings. Kills as many deer as the guys he hunts with)

I'm not sure which disturbs the deer the least. A lot depends on what they are used to I guess. I have done all of the above with success (except sitting in the truck)

I personally walk in or drive my truck part of the way then walk

I have a little contraption called a Suzuki Carry. Its nearly as quiet as a silent ride vehicle. In the mornings, I wait until its just daylight enough that I can drive with the headlights off and I drive it right to where I'm hunting. I pull up in the bushes and quietly slip out of it and into my stand. Doesn't seem to bother anything. I don't know if I'd do the same thing with a 4-wheeler or Rhino, etc.....I like to be able slip around quietly without my feet having to walk all over the property.

Anything a mile or less I walk. Unless it's like today where I have my 5 year old with me and then we drive the Teryx in.

One foot in front of the other. One of the best things about hunting is a nice, slow, quiet walk in nature. Those that roll up to their stand on a noisy 4 wheeler or glorified golf cart mISS out on a lot. But that's just my opinion. Different strokes.......

Me and Dad usually ride the rhino. I will drop him off at his stand or shooting house then drive no closer than about 300 yards from my stand and walk rest of the way.

It is what it is....

Zipine sounds awesome. You could hunt a bottom by zipping down off a hill, ridge or any kinda higher ground and stop right in your stand.

That's what I do. Then I have another running from my stand about 100 yds back to the base the hill I approach from. No steps in and none out for 100 yds from stand.

Electric golf cart if it can get to where I'm going but otherwise just walk. Don't like making the noise an atv would

Park at sign out board and walk unless I'm hunting the property across the road. Then I park at the gate and walk in. I try to be the 1st one in so the yahoos driving 4 wheelers will push deer to me. Works really well too.

I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern
