Well I experienced the greatest thing a father can while huntin with your son this mornin. My 8 year old killed his first deer right before 0900 this mornin., dropped it in its tracks and it was a 6 point! I think I was more excited than he was lol. But I'm in a spot that hasn't been hunted in at least 4 years.. I have no clue what's in here but I am set up next to the river and have fresh tracks in front of me.. The lord blessed me and my son this mornin so it's hard to ask for anything else. Deer or no deer this afternoon I'll never forget today's morning hunt!

My 13yo stayed at it with hid bow and scored his first bow kill this evening. Big cow horn spike with brow tines (that be 4pt?). Almost got it on film, but deer came from wrong direction with him self filming. Kid is a critter whisperer!
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
