Starting to stink but hocks not soaking or completely black. Bucks were up and moving. It is not here yet but very close. MLK weekend should be some good pre-rut action.

ALarcher OP 4 point Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 251 LA	I'm a Dallas county hunter. Killed a 140" 9 point last weekend, but deer movement has been funky. Haven't come to food plots all year. Had 62 pics on trailcam in a field over the past week. In the previous week had some corn out and had 1500+. They're going where the corn is, which is unfortunate. Some prerut signs down here but have see. No bucks harassing does, unless they were small bucks. Weather maybe? This is our first year down here and we've heard the rut is around this time every year. Not believing it right now. The buck stops here.
