I'm leaving out Thursday morning and headed to hunt the refuge through Monday. It'll be my second year going. I enjoy going down there. I really hope to hammer a pig more than I do a deer. If any of y'all from that area want to come by the cabin and hang out give me a holler. Were staying at a cabin on the lake.

I'll be up at my camp thur through Monday also. I'm about 15 min north of Lakepoint there. May have to meet up and do lunch or dinner one night. Decent Mexican place right on main street in eufaula. Weather forecast is looking perfect and the moon will be right.

Sounds good. Well have a pile of good good at our camp. We may not kill a thing but well sure do some fine eating!

I usually take a trip down this time of year also.. Not looking promising this year, tho.. I had a good racked buck come running across a field, to within 70 yards, behind 2 does the last weekend of the season last year.. Seen a total of 12 deer that day but no shots.. They seem to still move good late in the season, hopefully ya'll will lay some down.. Good Luck.. I sure hope so! The weather looks promising. Maybe they will stir a little for us!
