Sounds like to me he just grazed her. maybe only cutting her with one blade. most likely top of the back. bottom of the chest usually bleeds some if you hit them there.

I agree high back-strap type of hit,because of the meat and description of the bolt and no blood,would not surprise me if you see her again.But you never know.A good thing to do would have been to call a tracker in with a dog.A good dog will let you know if the deer is recoverable or not. I had a call from a youth hunter few weeks ago, the arrow was identical to yours.Put the dog on her she trailed it for several 100 yards then came back and told me he wasn't hurt.she wont track a deer if it isn't hurt.
