Guys I went out and bought this call because the reed split on my old hardwood grunt call and this is all I could find close to my house. Anyone use these ? Looking for a idea of what the settings are when you take it apart to slide the o - ring to and what they mean. The symbols are TB,MB,YD,DG,DB,and either EB or FB. I know what some are like doe bleat , doe grunt , and mature buck but not the others.Any help with this or any thoughts on the call itself would be greatly appreciated

I think what makes a good call is one that sounds good when you blow really soft and when you blow real hard some are good only at one sometimes it's too quite for that buck roar you always can muffle it tho

I have the same one. I used it this past Friday and shot an 8-point. But I don't know for sure how much of that was the call. I like it, but taking the cover off to slide the o-ring is not as easy as the Flextone Extinguisher Deer Call. It has a slide on the outside that is pretty slick. I like how easy it is to change the sound.

What setting do you have yours on JohnGibby? The TB setting is so deep seems it would scare smaller deer away and possibly shooters too

I change it up, that's the whole idea and what makes the Flextone attractive. You will use different vocalizations for different situations and at different times of the season.
