I had mine done for $300 back in Feb. Had it back in April. The guy does great work and does a lot of exotic African animals as well.

Make sure u choose a taxidermist that commercially tans ur hide..I don't like to skimp on my mounts it's one of my cheapest expenses when it comes to hunting...I know some folks that'll spend 10grand to hunt but bi$@$ about the price to mount a deer..

On top of club dues, camo, stands, atv or side by side, cameras, seed, gas, and so on and so on... don't try and find the cheapest place when it comes to mounts. I would suggest Alan Gobel, but he's not in NW Bama.

Scotty's in Smiths, Al charges 300 and does a fantastic job with wood plaque.
