Nice buck! Congrats to thr hunter. Who cares how much the deer weighed? Good grief. Because aon mag reported it at 300 lbs. It was weighed on a scale that only goes to 250 and so and so said it must weigh 300. It was twice as big as a 220 pounder so it must be 440. Yeah, good grief. Not very credible reporting IMO.

Congrats to the hunter! I killed a 260 pounder once that looked like a cow. The Next season I made the worst decision I ever made deer hunting and let a shonuff #300 deer walk. Well I didn't let him walk but killed his buddy who I thought was bigger horn wise. Was bow hunting and seen them together at 200yds. Had already seen 60 deer within the first hour of daylight and was fired up. As soon as I saw him I thought OMG THATS A 300# deer. More to the story but I could have killed him. I would put $100 on it that he weighed 300#. This was in Kentucky BTW. We killed a lot of good deer in KY but that kinda weight is not exactly typical even up there. Pics can be deceiving sometimes. I've seen a 205# and a 235# killed this year in Alabama and in the pics they don't look it. In person they did though. Congrats to the guy. Fine deer regardless of the weight especiLy on management area.
