I got skunked today. Didn't even see a deer until it got dark. Gonna try again Wed at Black Warrior.

I didn't see a deer the old lady got busted by a buck that caught her with her thumb up her arse and saw a spike.

Alright guys were ahead in points right now with the doe I posted today. I know it's still early but I think we can upset team 1 this year. The team I was on last year would have except two guys killed bucks but no does. We gonna need every point we can get to bring them down.

We are gonna leave out early thurs mornin and head up to Monroe co. I will have my kids with me but I'm sure there will be a few mornings they won't want to hunt. If that happens I will be in our clearcuts. First flop eared goat I see is gettin one slung at them. I will try to do my part.

Well tomorrow is our favorite hunt at oakmulgee. We normally kill a few deer and see a few bucks small or big. Hopefully I can get some horns down and have the rest of the season to upgrade.

I like your thinking. I'm hutning hard but the big boys just seem to be circling around me. It's gonna take a dumb rutted up buck or a blind one for me to score!

Welli guess the December lull is in full effect. I took a little break from hunting to catchup on things around the house. I will be goin up to the camp wed. Afternoon to hunt the opening of second season. I will keep y'all posted on what's happening.

It's been real slow for me the last week or so. I've seen a few deer here and there. But I'm starting to see a lot of sign which is getting me pumped up.

We got back in tonight from IL hunting the 2nd gun season and hunting was terrible..weather was junk Thur and Fri with rain etc..It's the worst hunting I've ever experienced up there...it wasn't just our farm but 5 others that I know of...We left after a quick hunt this morning and it turns out things started getting bbetter this afternoon, my buddy (Squeaky) killed a good one that came out in a patch feeding this afternoon...we probably should of stayed..ha

My wife got one of the big boys I was hunting at the house yesterday afternoon. I know it doesn't help our team score, but I thought I'd share. It's her first buck ever and we were both ecstatic! I'm pretty sure he's a 4yo cause I had a history with him. He was 180lbs and 123 3/4"

Also got another trip planned up to Kentucky. 12/26-12/30! Its bow season so a big pile of corn might be just the trick to lure a big boy into bow range. Hope to fill my tag on something atleast as big as my wife's

Bucks are starting to get on their feet a little more at our place. Two shooters were spotted yesterday. I'm still hunting for an upgrade.

I've been skunked so far, as y'all can tell. I'll be hunting Fri-Mon this weekend and most of the week following Christmas, so maybe I can get on the board here pretty soon.
