Gus quit on his team they did not quit on him. Gus was sooooo fortunate last year then this year he got a bad break in a game and could not coach the guys up, that little bit of doubt just kept pushing the door open more and more. It looked like he quit believing and lost his since of urgency and his guys in turn quit believing in him and his system. This will be an issue for a few years until Gus is replaced.
