The CS is looking for victim number 2. I'm in some thin pines on the edge of some thick 5 year old pines. I have pics of a nice four year old here. Sure would be nice if he would show up!

Got to work 12 hr day shift the next four days. Shot a good buck yesterday but hit him to far back. Trailed him to the property line and dont have permission to cross. Hate to loose one like that. I went to draw on him and my release popped off the d loop but the qad rest caught the arrow by the fletching. Deer broke and ran but stopped at 25yds. I got the arrow renocked and drew but he was looking right at me. Tried to get the shot off before he ran but he bolted just as i touched the trgger causing the shot to be to far back. Sure wish i could have a do over.

Good luck guys! I am heading to the club Wednesday night and hunting through Sunday. I haven't seen a deer while on stand since October 19th. Hopefully they will be moving some.

Just got home. Busted 3 does walking in, saw 2 100 yds away, and had a red fox walk the creek bank behind me. Saw two hundred and forty eleven geese as well...
