It's because the Family can't coordinate 90k peolpe to do the same thing at the same time. Hell they can't even get 11 guys on defense to do the same thing most of the time.
I don't agree with foul language around kids. At all. However, I do think kids who are going to be subject to this type of behavior should already know the difference between right and wrong things to say. You can not and will not be able to control an enviroment of 100k people to suit your expectations for children being present.

Now you guys get butthurt over the phrase "f auburn"
If you don't want your kids to hear it, don't take them, but I bet they hear it plenty of other places.
I'm sure most of the AU family muttered the words " f bama" during saturdays iron bowl. But now that thousands of Bama fans said it, it hurts your feelings?
It may be classless, But I've heard plenty of this at other campuses across the SEC. That doesn't make it ok, but it's truth.
This is college football In the south & In Alabama. With the popularity of college football constantly growing, it's only going to keep going down this path. This isn't ice skating, gymnastics or bowling. This is a brutal sport with brutal fans.
Toughen up.
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.
It's wasn't close to 90k,it was only the student section, and yes it was classless. I'm sure Battle will take care of it in a snap and it'll be all over.
"I didn’t mean to kill nobody, I just meant to shoot him once in the head and two times in the chest. Him dying was between he and the Lord." Legendary bluesman R.L. Burnside
Bottom line is a bunch of drunk kids shouting F×÷! Should not be tolerated in any place families, kids, grandparents, church groups etc pay money to watch a football team. Mr. Battle will hopefully put a stop to it or sale those student tickets to people who can act like fans and not a bunch of profain drunks. I have friends that cuss and use the f word if they did it around someone's kids or parents I would tell them to shut their hole.
The Dixieland Delight chant has been happening for years and no different than it was against AU. I'm not defending it in any way, but these ARE college kids we're talking about. The vulgarity is primarily in the student section and, in most other parts of the stadium, the added words aren't easily picked up on without already knowing what is being said.
Oh wow, you guys have run out of things to bitch about. I guess if you can't win you might as well complain about a bunch of drunk students. They should probably just stop letting spectators come to the games altogether. I sure hope you all never go to any college football practices b/c you will hear much worse than that coming out of the coaches mouths.
It's all they have left to hold on to. It could be argued that telling someone to go to Hell is the biggest insult you could give a person. But somehow their "go to Hell Alabama" cheer is classy.

Nah...Auburn fans are all class. They'd never engage in an organized, stadium-wide chant telling an entire fanbase to "Go to Hell", would they?...

The fambly likes to forget about those kinds of things when they wanna b*tch and moan about Alabama doing Something.
I guess them going 4-4 in the SEC this year really has them wearing their feelings on their sleeves. I'm sure losing the last 3 SEC games isn't helping.

If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.
As a long time alabama fan the first game I went to was the 79 sugar bowl as a kid and I don't remember seeing anyone falling down drunk or hearing any vulgar cheers or language in general. By the late 80s when I was in college there were a lot more drunks but it was mostly students and it didn't seem to be that big a deal. By three 90s things continued to decline, more staggering drunks and a lot of f you being yelled back and forth. My last game about ten years ago it was to the point of constant cursing at opposing fans by drunks and it was no longer just the students. Fights, drinks thrown, f you every other play. I won't go to another game because of it and my kids certainly won't go until they go on their own if they want. It seems to be at every stadium, at least the ones I have been to.
I have been going to Bama games since the early 90s and since the time while my daughter attended I have made most of the home games. The interesting thing that I noticed is that the Iron Bowl game is really the only game that has a lot of drunks and crap going on. For the last three Iron Bowl games I have had the privilege of sitting by a bunch of drunk and arrogant Auburn and Alabama fans. This game brings out the worst of both fan bases.
Yep but it's nice to see the players smile shake hands & talk to one another & joke around after the game..There's alot of fans who could learn something from them..It's a big rivalry for sure but it was a good clean game not like some of the other games I watched with players fighting & even some coaches getting evolved
How many people am i willing to sacrifice for freedom? Everyone. All of them...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
As far as I could tell it was a clean game, a lot of uncalled penalties, but that is the officials poor work. Dirtiest game was probably the Western Carolina bunch. I wouldn't care if Bama didn't ever play them again.

Yea that's what I meant the players played a good game..There was some crazy officiating this year for sure!!!..And I'd be danged if I'd ever pay WC to come back to my school sorry bastages
