Toted my climber in to my favorite spot this morning. It's the same spot I saw a a good 8 last Monday. I decided I would move down the ridge a little so I could see down in the bottom better. Picked my tree and climbed up. Well when it got daylight I couldn't see down in the bottom as well as I though. I actually didn't feel very good about the spot because I couldn't see very well at all. It's really thick in this spot. I thought about moving back to my original tree but decided to stick it out because I could see well behind me. I have never had a deer come from behind me but was hoping for the best. Well about 710 I hear something and got stood up and saw him a few seconds later and immediately knew he was mature so I grabbed my gun. I had to wait for quiet a while for him to walk to an opening and he finally walked through the only window I had and I let it fly. Thankful to the good Lord for blessing me with the ability to hunt and to be able to take this beautiful creature this morning. I'm tickled to death with him! [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img]
