With the temps being in the 60's next week, it'll sprout, but i wouldn't expect a lot of growth. Brassica's, should be planted earlier than cereal grains to get optimum growth. Its cheap, and not going to hurt anything, but i would go with cereal rye, if i could find it. If not try triticale or wheat.
