A friend has gone missing in S. Alabama. Hunts at a camp on Hw 29 near the Conecuh River at Mancil Rock Rd. Last seen saturday night in E. Brewton at a bar. Drives a 2004 Toyota Tundra extended cab truck with Florida tag number G699FL. If you see this truck or know anything about this please contact the authorities.

What do people who know him expect is going on? I know I'm asking for speculation but is he the type that would just take off or is foul play a possibility?

He's not the type to not come home and 110% not the type to not show up at work on Monday morning. Folks are worried for sure.

Was he last seen at the hunting camp or at a bar?

This is not the situation that I wanted to become an Aldeer member, but here are a few facts concerning this situation.
I am a friend of Eric's and have been involved in this investigation to assist LE officials.
I am also friends with the local property owner that also is a member of the club that Eric hunts in.
I spent most of the day yesterday searching near the camp, riding roads from Damascus through the Bogs N Boulders area toward Soggy Bottom Tavern and back through Andalusia showing pictures of him and his vehicle.
I returned this morning with the owner and club member to attend a meeting at the ECSO and other local officials including game wardens and Brewton police.
We escorted officials back to the camp for inspection and also checked roads and gates on the property.
During this time other LE were riding roads and a plane was sent up to search the surrounding areas.
I do not hunt with these guys and was not present this weekend during the time he went missing.
This area of Alabama is not my neck of the woods and I was very surprised by the lack of cell service that extends to a far larger area than I had experienced the previous time I was in the area.
I asked James to start a thread because I was aware of this forum and any extra eyes paying attention in this part of the world would be a huge help.
Eric has many friends in the Pensacola area that are concerned about this situation. Most important though he has family, a wife and an 8 year old son.
He was last seen alone leaving Ole Henrys in Brewton on Saturday night at 11:45 pm.
If anyone has any information please contact the ECSO in Brewton.

His vehicle has not been found.
His cell phone has not had any activity since he made a call while he was in Brewton Saturday at 11:45 AM.
He was with another club member at this time picking up seed.
The last activity on his credit card was at 11:50 PM Saturday night when he closed his tab at Ole Henry's.

man yall need to check some rivers, creeks ravines and everywhere from the club to his house where he could have fallen asleep and drove off the road.

Does he have any known health problems?

I'm thinking that is where TC leased this year. I know the area pretty well and there are some deep ravines around the river and Damascus. prayers up.

I have some property very near that area. What's his truck look like? I'll be up that way this weekend.
