I'm more concerned about the ones not killed today. One would have to be naive not to notice the number put on the board this morning and not raise an eyebrow. I believe we've got ourselves a real problem.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

Nope I'm just sad weren't more killed at the club. We killed 5 opening day last year.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Speaking of coyotes, we had found my boys deer this morning and had taken all our gear back to the truck. We took the wheeler back to get his buck, and a big black yote came trotting within 40 yards of us. He had no fear of us, and just kept his course.

Didn't SEE any all day, but I must have heard five dozen at daylight and dark all around the big cutover I was hunting. In all seriousness, it sounded like there might have been 20 or 30 different dogs.

I believe the Coyotes are a HUGE problem in the state. I killed 3 in Turkey season, and I saw at least one on every turkey hunt last spring. We need to start putting more pressure on the state biologists about this problem. They seem to think it's not a problem. I didn't see one tonight, but I heard a bunch start up at dusk.

I smoked a huge coyote this morning heading out to hunt. Was going 75mph never checked up.

Several years ago I would find bits and pieces of deer ( leg, a foot , tail, or hide) all over our property. I assumed they had been in our gut pile bc there had been several killed at our property. I then learned not one deer was cleaned on the property. A week or two later, in one morning, 12 ciyotes were seen in one morning. We opened the season on em. Theyre definitely a problem
Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers.......... Si Robertson

I absolutely do not mind risking messing up a deer hunt to dispatch a coyote. x2 I'll shoot one every chance I get

I was in my truck. I heard parts of him hitting the undercarriage.

They are an issue. I hate to shoot one early afraid I will mess my hunt up. But I've only seen a handful. One hunt last year, I shot a coyote at 9:00 AM . Doe came out of hardwood bottom 30 minutes later then 15 minutes after that I killed my largest buck ever, nice heavy 8 point.
