Sitting in the stand this morning watching all zero deer walking by with my toy binoculars thinking these are junk. I decided I need some better optics. So as much as I wish I cpu go buy a 2000 pair of binoculars I can not. 150 is really the most I can go if that much. So I am asking for help on finding the best value in my price range.

I read a lot of good things about them they even won bino of the year from one website but they are a little out of my price range I'd have to save longer to get them but it might be worth it

This, very close to my swarovski's for much less. Not as good at low light but clarity and design is very similar. Think I paid $220 for the diamondbacks I have.

I picked up a pair of Redfield Rebel 10x42's a few weeks ago for my kids to use when they go hunting with me. They are at least as good as my Nikon Monarchs, and possibly better. They aren't bulky either. They had them on sale at Academy when I got mine and I think I paid either $109 or $119 for them. http://www.opticsplanet.com/redfield-rebel-10x42mm-binocular.html

Alpine makes good glasses in that price point.
Also look at Cabelas line of glasses. I bought a pair of 10x42 last year for him and I think they were $180 or so.

I don't know how big of a hurry you are in but Cabela's is going to have a deal on Leupold Bx-2 Acadia starting November 27-December 3 according to the Christmas catalog. 8X42=$119.99 10x42=$139.99 They are also doing daily deals right now so check daily. Last week I bought the Vortex 8.5x50 Diamondbacks for $139.99 with free shipping. I really like the Vortex they are very bright and sharp.

I love my Bushnell 10x42. It's older model. Trophy I think. But they're great. Got a pair of Nikon compacts too. They're good but the compact isn't as good in low light as the 10x42.

i have some older bushnell binos that i really like, and i got on a kick a couple of years ago and bought a used pair of leupold and nikon monarch ones too. theyre all good, but the bushnell ones were the cheapest to buy. ill have to look at the model when i can. i keep them in my truck and they go through extreme temps and are still clear after 10 yrs or so. the most important thing is to try them out before you buy them. i wouldnt buy any off of the net, just IMO. if you wear glasses it will matter what kind you buy too. every man needs a good pair or three. lol
oh, i havent found a compact that compare to a full size set.

Regardless of what has been posted, I wouldn't buy any without looking through them and holding them in my hands first. At least a sample pair before ordering....

I bought my son a pair of Nikon re-manufactured for a lot less than a new pair, They were factory re-maned and have the same warranty as new. I have a pair if Swarovski 8x30 and the Nikon is comparable.

I just received a set of Brunton Lite-Tech 10x42s I bought from Sierra Trading for less than $40 plus shipping. I have never owned an expensive pair but these are great for the money. These normally cost about a hundred. I'm very pleased with the deal and the product.
