BRUTAL!!! Met up at 4:45AM this morning with some of the bass club guys. You have to fish with a couple of members before you can join. We decided last week we'd go today (before we knew what the weather was like!).
Anyway, we ran outa Beeswax around 6:30AM. Run up river to the steam plant. NADA. Fished mid river around docks at the mouth of creeks. NADA. Fished some rocky humps on the main river. NADA. Fished till about 11:AM and called it quits. Threw just about everything in the tackle box at em. Not even a bite today....
It was COLD. We had plenty of snow. Saw plenty of deer and ducks (of course). There's something to be said for running 70mph as a passenger in a Ranger bass boat when there's 1ft of chop on the water. Don't remember exactly what it is......
