So if im hunting the wma and cut my deer up and take it to the check in station. There's gonna be nothing said about it are ticket? Nope. Leave proof of sex on the deer. I've talked to the manger of Oakmulgee WMA and Chris Cook during the gun hunts about this subject. People quarter deer at Oakmulgee WMA gun hunts and nothing is said about it.

Oakmulgee regs say you must record your kill on the harvest record before you field dress or rove an antlered buck. "It Shall Be Unlawful:" (#26)
That's a State wide reg. Doesn't say you can't quarter it up and pack it out.

That's a State wide reg. Doesn't say you can't quarter it up and pack it out. You're correct, it doesn't. We're in agreement. I intended to point out that the only stipulation is to record the kill on the harvest record, before doing anything to the deer.

I called Frank Allen (Skyline WMA mgr) last year and asked him about this. He said just keep proof of sex and I'd be fine.
