I've killed a few nannies and a 3 year old spike, and this is my first rack. I've watched this deer for two years and passed on him a couple times during that period. But Saturday afternoon he stepped in the greenfield right before dark and I took the shot. I wasn't real sure how good the shot was, so I just backed out and went back the next morning. He ran 50 yards across the field and 30 yards into the woods and laid down. The shot was 26 yards and low and back (guts), but the Rage Extreme Chisel did it's job. After 30+ years of gun hunting, this is by far my favorite kill. I really enjoy the challenges that come with bow hunting. I guess my rifles have become safe queens!
